Hi everyone,

My name is Anthony Zaino, and I have been given the opportunity to march my second season of DCI with the Troopers! I am an 18 year old mellophone player from Allen High School and I'm raising money to help fund my second season of DCI.

For anyone unfamiliar, Drum Corps International is a nationally competitive marching activity that brings together musicians and performers from across the country to train and perform at the highest level. Becoming a DCI performer has been a dream of mine ever since I watched my first show with my mom in the summer of 2023. Being able to live out that dream last summer completely changed my perspective on discipline, resilience, and work ethic. This experience means everything to me and has fundamentally shaped my character beyond the field. This activity involves months of intense rehearsal, travel, and personal growth alongside my fellow performers. As a student musician, this is one of the most challenging and rewarding opportunities available.

Despite this, the total cost for tuition, travel, and tour expenses is fairly expensive I have been working hard to save money on my own, but I am asking for help to make the rest possible. All proceeds will go towards food, housing, and travel expenses as I tour the country this summer. Any donation, no matter how small, helps me get one step closer to performing this summer.
