On November 20, 2024, Anthony Perez Garcia was involved in a devastating accident while riding his bike in Brentwood. A car failed to yield and struck him, leaving him badly injured on the ground in excruciating pain. Tragically, the driver fled the scene, leaving Anthony lying on the ground in immense pain and in need of urgent medical care.

Anthony was immediately rushed to the trauma center in Walnut Creek, where doctors discovered he had a partially collapsed lung, internal bleeding, and a severely broken arm. He underwent emergency surgery to stabilize his condition, followed by another surgery the next day to repair his arm. He spent four days in the ICU and is now facing weeks—if not months—of intensive physical therapy to regain full mobility and strength.
