Shí eí Anthony J. Lee yinishyeh. Kíyaa’áanii nishłí. Naat’aanii Nez dénaasha. For 15 years, it has been my genuine joy to be a part of the Four Corners music scene.

It pains me to have to do this, but I sincerely need your support. On October 3rd, I was stabbed in my own home. I have since spent numerous hours in emergency rooms and undergone surgery on my ulnar and median nerves due to sustaining severe nerve damage to my dominant arm. Though the surgery was successful, my surgeon gave me an estimate of up to 7 years to make a full recovery. Truth is, I don’t know when I’ll be cleared to return to work or even if I’ll be able to continue with my work in construction with my injury. What I do know is that I am grateful to be alive. I start physical therapy soon, and I am seeking support from my community. Right now I am seeking alternative ways to support myself and my family while I heal.

The funds will be used to help cover the cost of living, physical therapy, follow-up appointments and moving expenses as I navigate my recovery. My goal is to return to work as soon as possible so I can move back home and be closer to both my children.

It has been my intention to impact others positively with my music and facilitation of community centered DIY events. It is my hope that my work has positively impacted others, and at this time with humility I am asking for support. Any level of support from donating, sharing this post, or sending words of encouragement means the world to me. Even the smallest of kind gestures help me move forward during this challenging time.
