Helping Anthony O’Connell Honor His Father’s Memory

Introduction

We are heartbroken to share that Jimmy O’Connell, born July 1, 1960, passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2025, after bravely battling cancer.

Jimmy was not only a loving father but a devoted single parent who raised his only child, Anthony O’Connell, completely on his own. He did whatever was necessary to make sure his son was cared for, supported, and raised with strong values.

A Father’s Legacy

Jimmy taught Anthony how to be strong, respectful, and most importantly how to be a man. He was Anthony’s entire world—his father, his family, and his foundation. Now, Anthony is facing the unimaginable pain of laying to rest the only family he has ever known.

Why We Are Asking for Help

In the midst of deep grief, Anthony is also facing the financial burden of funeral/cremation and final expenses on his own, while still raising children. During this time of sorrow, any support would help him give his father the proper burial and respect he deserves for a lifetime of sacrifice and love.
