Anthony Holloman recently has been diagnosed with Stage 4 prostate cancer which has metastasized throughout his body. Anthony needs the support from his family and friends to get through this uphill battle.
Anthony grew up in Englewood, New Jersey. Later on he migrated to Connecticut in 1988 to attend the University of New Haven. He majored in criminal justice and graduated in 1991. Anthony decided to join the New Haven Police Department in 1992. He worked tirelessly, pushing a patrol car in the Fair Haven section, and finished his career in the Morris Cove neighborhood. Anthony retired in 2013 after serving 21 years in the Elm City. Anthony then joined the Mashantucket Tribal Police in 2013 and has worked there until now. Anthony has dedicated himself to serving the community his whole life.
Anthony is married to Rena and has two boys, Connor and Aiden, ages 25 and 14. Anthony is a dedicated family man who would do anything for his family and friends.
I met Anthony 29 years ago and he inspired me to join the police force. We worked together for 13 years. I would consider Anthony my brother and one of my best friends. Anthony would give you the shirt off his back. Anthony was always there for his family, friends and fellow coworkers in times of need.
Due to his long treatment plan, including procedures, medications, and potential side effects, Anthony will be out of work for at least six months to one year fighting this horrible illness. Unfortunately, Anthony had to resign from the profession he loved due to the lengthy process.
Anthony’s wife works part-time and without his current job, he will need assistance with bills, medical expenses, and travel. This unforeseen diagnosis will cause him a financial burden that was unexpected. Even a small contribution can make a big difference. Please help support our brother. Thank you for your kindness and support.
