Update from Maria: 10-28-25

Anthony has begun his 2nd cycle of chemo. As expected, he's very tired, nauseous and weak.

Anthony Gray is a 17-year-old who has always been passionate about baseball and spending time with his family. Just before his diagnosis, Anthony was looking forward to his senior year at Archbishop Stepinac High School and enjoying the freedom of his newly acquired driver's license. On August 21st, Anthony was admitted to the hospital after being diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML), and his world—and the world of those who love him—changed overnight. He has been in the hospital since his diagnosis and will be there for at least another month. He spent a week in the pediatric intensive care unit, battling serious complications from his condition. As he begins his treatment journey, Anthony faces not only the physical and emotional challenges of his illness, but also the uncertainty that comes with it.

His family is doing everything they can to support him, but the costs of medical bills and everyday expenses are quickly adding up. Anthony’s two sisters, one in high school and one in elementary school, are at home missing their brother and hoping for his recovery. The family is doing their best to stay strong, but the financial strain is making it difficult to focus on what matters most: helping Anthony heal and keeping their family together.

Anthony has already started treatment and will soon undergo another bone marrow biopsy, making this a critical time for support. Every donation will help ease the burden on his family, allowing them to focus on Anthony’s care and well-being.
