3 WEEK UPDATE: It has been a roller-coaster, with many setbacks, but I am happy to report that Brian Anthony is improving day by day! He is in the beginnings of Physical and Speech Therapy and will be working hard to get back on his feet, walking, eating etc. He still faces months of recovery but the prognosis is nothing short of the miracle that we asked you all to pray for. We thank everyone and ask that you continue your thoughts and prayers for Brian and his family.

My name is Brenda Guerra and a tragedy has occurred in our work family. Brian 'Anthony' Cruz, son of Kim and Brian Cruz, was violently thrown from a truck bed in his neighborhood on Monday, August 11th. He has major head and brain trauma, was life-flighted to San Antonio, and is fighting for his life right now in ICU. His mom and dad are there by his bedside constantly. Sister, Kioni, is his best supporter and cheerleader.

Anthony is a student at Canyon Lake High School. If you know this family, you know what great parents they are, how close their little family is, and how devastating this is. They face many unknowns at this time: surgeries, rehab, and lost time from their jobs.
