On Saturday, August 23, 2025 my cousin's family was suddenly turned upside down in an instant.
Together, my cousin Anthony, his wife Julia and their eldest son were out on a motorcycle ride.
As they were driving back home, just three blocks away, a drunk driver cutout in front of them, causing Anthony and his wife Julia to t-bone the truck.
Sadly, while on his own motorcycle, Anthony (Lil Ant), witnessed the devastating, deadly accident of his father, whose life was taken instantly.
He was 38yrs. young and leaves behind his wife Julia and two incredible sons -
Anthony and Kymani —who adored their father more than anything in the world.
Julia, is now in the hospital fighting through major injuries.
These kids have lost their father, the family's sole provider, and have only each other to lean on now , as their mom fights to heal from her extensive injuries.
Anthony was a hardworking, loving father who always put his family first. He showed up for his kids in every way—from cheering at games to giving advice, to making them laugh when they needed it most. His absence is something that can never be filled.
Right now, Anthony is trying to hold it together for his younger sibling while also processing the loss of their father and the fear of losing their mom.
At just 13, Kymani is left trying to understand why something like this could happen. No child should have to face this.
This fundraiser will help cover:
• Funeral and memorial costs for Anthony
• Medical expenses for Julia as she recovers
• Everyday needs like food, rent, and bills while the family is without income
• Support for the kids’ future, including counseling and school
We are asking for help to lift some of this unbearable weight. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward helping Anthony and Kymani have some stability during this devastating time.
If you can’t donate, please share this page and keep this family in your prayers. Together, we can surround them with the love and support they desperately need.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
