A year ago my boyfriend and I got the opportunity to move across the country and relocate for a job opportunity he was promised. At the time we were facing homelessness and it was an opening we couldn’t pass up. We took the chance and came to Michigan from California. After about a month of being over here Anthony lost his job and we were instantly relying on my veterans disability. With no savings and a rental home with a bill too high we’re facing homelessness once again. We’ve been lucky enough to be able to purchase a 1993 Damon Intruder for us, and our two dogs and cat, to live in. We do not have the funds currently to finish making the inside habitable and need some help. If we can purchase batteries for our solar panels, and a new propane tank because ours is the original from when it was made that would make a huge difference in how our winter is spent this year.
