PROJECT: Resurface gym floor and widen basketball court

Hey Hoops Family,

As part of the Annunciation community, we all know how important the gym is — not just for the kids, but for our Men’s Hoops Group as well. Whether it’s practice, shooting around or play pick up on Monday and Thursday nights, we all spend a lot of time on the court. And right now , the court needs some serious love.

What We Need

We are raising $10,000 to resurface the floor and widen the basketball court. The goal is to have work done over the Christmas break, so we’ll have better playing surface to come back to in the new year.

Why It Matters

Better Surface = Better Play: a new surface will improve game quality and make the gym safer for everyone. Oh, and it will no doubt improve my shooting percentage.

Wider Court = More Space: a slightly wider court means more space to play and more room for those corner 3’s. Okay, as you all know this will do nothing for my shooting percentage.

Supporting Annunciation = Stronger Community: We have an Annunciation Dad with skills to do the job, so 100% of your donation will go t towards covering the materials and costs of the resurface.

We’re aiming to raise $10,000 by December 13th so we can get the work done over the Christmas break.
