On December 17, 2025 our greatest fear became a reality. Ann was rushed to Danbury Hospital for what we all thought were complications from a pneumonia diagnosis. Since she was admitted to the ICU her family has watched her fight for her life. Her four children have watched the unthinkable, arrhythmia episodes that caused heart complications and a stroke. She is now in critical condition and her children are fighting along side her.
Some of you may know her as the lunch lady at Johnson School and Bethel Middle School or from Pop Warner Cheerleading or more recently at Food Bag. She has always been a true pillar of the community and anyone who meets her cannot help but love her. She has always shown up for anyone who needs her with kindness and compassion. During her time at Food Bag she knew everyone by name and they were always greeted with a smile.
Ann is so much more than those things. She is a mom to Phil, Ellen, Laura and Mary. She is a grandma to Ava, Haylee, Jayden and Rhyleigh; her grandbabies absolutely adore her. Most of all she is a wife to John for 48 years. Recently she has become the main caregiver for her husband who is suffering for dementia. Her family wants nothing more than for her to come home.
As Ann continues to fight, our focus is on her care and recovery. The emotional and financial toll has been overwhelming. We are asking for support to help ease the financial strain so her family can be by her side as well as take care of their father. Any donation, prayer, or share means more than can be expressed.
Thank you for your love, prayers, and keeping Ann and her family in your thoughts and prayers.
