Ann has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer. She is working with a traditional oncologist as well as an integrative oncologist in hopes of healing and enjoying a long life to come. She will have appointments 3 times a week where she is receiving alternative forms of therapy in addition to her aggressive chemotherapy treatments. This uncomfortably high fundraising number will get her through 6-9 months of treatment (not covered by insurance). We are asking for help from the people that have loved her and been blessed by her. (And from people who love and have been blessed by Ty, who, of course, is incredibly affected by this heartbreaking news.)

Ann has always been an extraordinary example of generosity and kindness to her family and her community. She has spent the last 30+ years teaching her own children as well as many of yours. Sometimes in her home where she taught preschool, in public/charter elementary schools, often in church, and in many cases, in completely random situations where she has decided to love and serve complete strangers.
