In April of 2025, Ann found a lump in her breast from self-examination. We held out all hope it would be resolved quickly after her getting a few preliminary tests. Our hopes were dismissed as we were told it was Stage 2 breast cancer. What followed was a barrage of tests and almost daily appointments resulting in weekly chemotherapy treatments. Next year she will be receiving radiation treatments daily after a surgical procedure of a double mastectomy. We remain hopeful in her treatments and recovery but now face the daunting prospect of the medical costs. Ann has always been a self-sufficient person but her medical insurance can only cover so much. Please consider donating to help alleviate the coming medical costs. Thank you.
