My name is Annika and I am a first-year veterinary student who has been hit with the veterinary student curse of having a chronically ill pet. My cat, Edgar has been sick with an immune-mediated condition and recurrent urinary issues/urethral obstructions. After his third time being "blocked," he now needs surgery. His unblockings, hospitalizations, and surgery are totaling up just under $10,000. Since I am a full time student, I decided to give this a try to raise funds. Anything will help.
