Hello! My name is Annie Gimenez. I am finishing up my second year of university at The Institute of the Arts Barcelona. This fundraiser would help me with my last year at the institute. I am pursuing my degree and lifelong passion in Contemporary Dance. I have been dancing since I was 6 years old, with my first love being in Classical ballet at my mom's dance studio. Since then, dance has taken me to many places, like California, where I trained in the Vaganova method under Marat Daukayev, to Pittsburgh, PA, with Pittsburgh Ballet Theater, all the way to the EU! Dancing in countries such as France, Italy, and now Spain. Through it all, my parents have supported my dreams, and they continue to, as small business owners, they are struggling to help me finish my last year in school. So, as any kid would, I would like to help them with this final stretch, and with my inability to work within the EU, I thought I could ask the community to help a dancer finish their studies. Any contribution would help tremendously and would go directly towards paying my tuition. I appreciate any amount of support you can offer, even if it's just spreading the word.
