Welcome all! My name is Annette and I am starting classes this fall at UCSD as a transfer student. I have been working toward this for years and am transitioning from working full-time with school part-time to school full-time and working part-time. The financial aid office has told me it takes 2 to 3 months to fully process my paperwork before I can receive any funds. I have filed the appeal to have my financial aid based on working part-time rather than my tax return from 2 years ago.

Those that know me know the struggle I've been having for 2 years at my last job with harassment and bullying, and without notice last week, I was put on administrative leave pending termination in retaliation by the very person I filed a grievance against. This pushes my plan for my school transition sideways a bit, which is why I've set up this GoFundMe campaign. I am exploring all ideas and ways I can raise funds for the 2 to 3 month transition at school before my financial aid kicks in and would be eternally grateful and appreciative of any donation or help I'm able to receive.

I understand it might be awkward to receive a GoFundMe email, but I expect nothing and am putting myself out there just in case someone is able to help me. I don't know if I don't ask for help, and the situation I'm in was tight before the unexpected loss of work, but now the time crunch I'm dealing with is dire.
