My mom, Annette Cyrus, has recently been diagnosed with Stage III Follicular Lymphoma. I’m starting this gofundme in hopes to relieve some of the financial stress this has/will cause.

This all started because she was feeling extremely fatigued and was having heart palpitations and pressure in her chest. She went to get checked out and originally they thought it was muscle related so they had her do physical therapy, which didn’t work. A heart screening was then recommended, so they did an EKG and a CT scan, the CT scan showed a mass in her chest. She then had the mass biopsied and it came back as Lymphoma. After doing a PET scan we found out it’s also in her neck, chest, and abdomen. Thankfully a bone marrow biopsy showed it hasn’t spread to her bones.

She started her first cycle of chemotherapy last week with two more sessions in the next two weeks. Then it will be three more cycles after that through January. A PET scan will then be done to see how the medication is working and go from there.

The money that’s donated will go to travel costs to and from treatments and doctor appointments, anything not covered by her insurance, and towards bills if she’s unable to work.
