On Saturday, January 17th, my mom, Annette Jessing, was admitted into the hospital after experiencing extreme pain in her stomach. After many tests, they discovered a mass and perforation in her colon. On the morning of Monday, January 19th, she was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer that has spread to her liver. That same night, she went in for emergency surgery where they removed a large part of her colon and fixed the perforation. While she's making great progress in healing from surgery, she will eventually have to begin chemotherapy to help treat the lesions on her liver.

With my mom currently unable to work, my dad and sister taking time off, and me returning to school in Eugene soon, keeping up with finances feels impossible right now. Any and all help would mean the absolute world to the four of us right now.
