We are raising funds for our beloved family member, Anne Gates, who is currently fighting Stage 3 Large Cell Neuroendocrine Carcinoma of the lung, a rare and aggressive form of cancer.

Anne is undergoing chemotherapy and radiation, and the impact has been overwhelming—physically, emotionally, and financially. Her days are filled with medical appointments, often multiple times a day, requiring frequent travel between Albany, NY and Glens Falls, NY. The constant treatments and travel have made it impossible for her to work.

Anne’s husband, Scott Gates, has been by her side every step of the way, supporting her through treatments, appointments, and the emotional toll this diagnosis has brought to their family. Together, they are doing everything they can to stay strong, but the financial strain has become incredibly heavy.

At the same time, Anne is currently in a difficult battle to be approved for disability, leaving the family without reliable income during one of the most critical times of their lives.

One of Anne’s daughters has made the decision to leave her job to become Anne’s full-time caregiver, ensuring she gets to appointments and has the care and support she needs. This has affected the entire family. Anne is a devoted mother of four children, with two still living at home, including a 15-year-old who is currently in high school.

Anne is also a proud grandmother to 10 grandchildren, who mean the world to her. She is fighting every day not just for herself, but for her children, her grandchildren, and the family she loves so deeply.

The stress of medical bills, travel expenses, household costs, and lost income has placed an enormous burden on the family. We are asking for help to ease that burden so Anne can focus on healing and spending precious time with her loved ones.
