Support Anne Fisher's Fight Against Breast Cancer
Donation protected
Hey everyone,
I'm Krystie Deane, and I'm here to rally support for my incredible mom, Anne Fisher, as she bravely battles breast cancer. Her journey hasn't been easy, but with your help, we can make it a little smoother.
In November 2023, Mom received the devastating news of her diagnosis. Given our family's history with breast cancer, she underwent a double mastectomy and had some lymph nodes removed. Unfortunately, the cancer had already spread, adding another layer to her fight.
Since then, Mom's faced one challenge after another. A broken wrist in September 2023 left her unable to work, and now she's gearing up for 16 rounds of chemotherapy and 8 radiation treatments, scheduled all the way through October 2024.
Financially, it's been tough. Mom's work history as a 1099'd licensed mortgage processor means she's not eligible for unemployment benefits. We're waiting on a decision for Social Security disability benefits, but in the meantime, medical expenses are piling up. Treatments like cold cap therapy, which helps prevent hair loss during chemo and radiation, come with a hefty price tag of $350 each session, and insurance doesn't cover it.
Mom's already sacrificed so much – her car, her financial stability, even basic necessities. But with your support, we can ease some of the burden. Whether it's helping cover medical bills, everyday expenses, or simply offering words of encouragement, every bit makes a difference.
Mom has so much life left to live, especially with her five grandsons who adore her. Let's come together and show her the love and support she deserves during this challenging time.
Thank you for considering donating and being a part of Mom's journey to healing.
With heartfelt thanks,
