Hi friends! My name is Anna, and I’m 20 years old & survivor of Clostridium septicum sepsis while 13 weeks pregnant.

Some of you may not know, but I was expecting twins in January 2025. Unfortunately, my life became quickly upended in the most tragic way. On Friday July 12, I was barely clinging on to life as I suffered rare and severe life-threatening complications from an ectopic pregnancy. A deadly bacteria infected me, which led to septic and cardiac shock. My heart and all other organs were failing and I was beginning to die in the ICU bed. It took my family four days to get a survival rate, which started off at less than 2%. While I did survive and have made a miraculous recovery, my family and I are completely devastated as my condition required a full hysterectomy to save my life.
