Support Anna's Move to Stability and Healing

Dearest loved ones,

I hope this message finds you well and surrounded by love. I’m reaching out during a challenging time in my life, and it feels important to share my journey with you, not just for support but also to connect on a deeper level.

As many of you know, the entertainment industry has faced significant changes, and I have found myself navigating an unexpected path. For over a year, I have struggled to find my usual work, and while I’ve been resilient in trying to pivot, the search for opportunities related to my skill set has proven to be quite difficult. However, I’ve been fortunate to retain my substitute teacher certificate and have been working with LAUSD since March, which has brought me some fulfillment. I’ve also been driving for Lyft to help make ends meet.

While I’m grateful for these opportunities, I’ve faced financial challenges due to the consolidation of debt during the pandemic. This has made it hard to save for unforeseen circumstances, and unfortunately, I’m now in a position where I need to move to a more affordable living situation. This means I must downsize significantly, and I’m also faced with the tough decision of re-homing my beloved cats. If anyone could offer a temporary foster home, I would be deeply appreciative.

As I navigate this transition, I find myself in a position where my income is only a fraction of what I once earned. I’ve been working hard to keep up with my rent and bills, but with the impending need to move by November 1, I’m feeling overwhelmed. I don’t currently have the means to cover the upfront costs of a new place, and while I will receive my deposit back from my current home, that won’t happen until closer to December.

It’s difficult for me to reach out like this, but I do so with a heart full of gratitude. If you’re able to contribute in any way to assist with my move, I would be profoundly thankful. I’m committed to finding a more stable situation and utilizing my skills to the fullest, but I recognize that I need to create a solid foundation first.

This past year hasn’t just been about career challenges; I’ve also experienced personal setbacks, including a breakup after moving in together earlier this year. It’s felt like a series of waves crashing down, but I am determined to rise and rebuild. I know that finding a more affordable home will provide the space I need to heal and plan my next steps.
