Anna, my daughter, is facing one of the toughest battles of her life. She has end stage liver cirrhosis and has recently completed her assessment for a liver transplant. If she is approved, she will need to travel immediately to Charleston for the procedure. This means she will have to stay in a hotel for at least six weeks, far from home, while she recovers and undergoes treatment. The costs of travel, accommodation, and the surgery itself are overwhelming for our family, and we are reaching out for help during this critical time.
