Support Anna's College Dream - First Gen American Student

Hello! My name is Anna, and I am a first-generation American college student. I am currently enrolled in the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, California. I am in the Visual Development Department, studying to be a Concept Artist. Art has always been my passion, and I'm looking into making it a career. I'm very thankful to my parents for supporting me in my decision and helping to pay for school. But unfortunately, I know that American education is very expensive, so I would like to help my parents pay for my college. I work part-time at a local cafe, but it is not enough to be a significant help to my parents with paying off my education. As much as they told me I don't need to worry about helping them with money, I know I want to do my part to graduate debt-free.

Education is an essential part of living in America, and I know my parents moved here to help me and my siblings succeed. And as the first child to attend American University, I will always be grateful to my parents who allowed me to choose this field of study. I want to set a good example for my siblings in helping my parents pay for college.
