Anna, a loving wife, mother, and teacher, now needs our community's support as she battles life with ALS. She was a middle school teacher in Bryan County for 6 years. Mother of three beautiful boys, Dalton (14), Brody (6), and Dane (3). Anna was diagnosed with ALS on June 24, 2022, when the littlest was only six months old. Prior to her diagnosis, Anna lived an active lifestyle. She loved being outdoors, doing everything from horseback riding, hunting, biking, and kayaking.

ALS is a devastating neurodegenerative disease, with no cure, affecting the muscles of the body. The ability to move and talk is lost. The disease eventually affects respiratory muscles. Anna has been bed-bound for two years now. She lost her voice in November 2024. She now communicates by typing messages using her eyes on a speech-generating device called Tobii.

Anna's wonderful husband is the sole caregiver of her and the three boys. She now requires 24-hour care. And if Jason, her husband, needs to leave the home, he must pay for a caregiver. The financial burden is overwhelming.

Your support will help with needed medical equipment and caregiver assistance. Any donation, big or small, will go a long way in ensuring Anna and her family can spend as much time together as possible without the constant stress of financial burden.
