I’m asking for help for my sister Annamarie, who is currently fighting for her life. She is 57 years old, and just a few months ago, everything changed. In late October 2025, she had a 7cm tumor removed, only to learn she has two types of incredibly rare and aggressive sarcoma. She told us something recently that we can’t stop thinking about: “I just want to be here long enough for my grandson to remember me.” That’s what this fight is about. Not just treatment. Not just survival. But time. Time to be with her family. Time to create memories. Time for her grandson to truly know her.

What She’s Facing: Sarcoma is unpredictable and aggressive. It doesn’t follow clear rules, and one of the biggest risks is that it spreads to the lungs. Right now, that’s what we are trying to prevent. But the hardest part is the uncertainty because it could already be there and simply too small to detect. She has started her first round of chemotherapy. The mutations she has only respond to this specific type of treatment, and even then, there are no guarantees. Some mutations don’t respond to anything at all. The plan is to complete four rounds of chemotherapy, followed by a PET scan to determine if there are any options left. Everything depends on how her body responds.

Why We Need Help: While she focuses on treatment, the financial reality doesn’t stop. She is receiving short-term disability, but after taxes and insurance premiums, there is very little left to cover basic living expenses. We are asking for help to cover:
