Support Annabelle's Journey to Recovery

I'm posting for a friend whose family is going through the unthinkable. Long story short, Annabelle is a 7 year old girl who was recently in the hospital where it was discovered she had a cyst in her head. Once surgery was performed to remove the cyst, a tumor was located. They could not remove the tumor at the time but did a biopsy to test it and see what we are dealing with. The results showed Annabelle’s tumor is a craniopharyngioma tumor, a noncancerous tumor.

There are two options for treating it; one is to remove it by surgery or radiation. Due to the location of the tumor, the doctors don’t want to do the surgery to remove it, as it is a very risky procedure. The course of treatment will be 6 weeks of radiation. There are only two machines in Florida for this specific treatment, one in Orlando and one in Miami. With the treatments she will have to get them daily Monday thru Friday for 6 weeks straight. After the treatments she will have to go for a scan every 3 months to monitor the tumor to make sure the treatment works and stops it from growing.

This family will be separated during treatments and I can only ask if you are guided to help in any way, please do so, your donations would be greatly appreciated.
