Right before Christmas, Anna was diagnosed with a rare reproductive cancer, stage III. She has completed several weeks of radiation treatments and chemotherapy infusions, culminating with an intensive inpatient therapy at the start of April. She is eagerly waiting to learn if the treatments were successful.

As an artist and small business owner, Anna has been unable to work during treatment, losing sales and production time. Her significant other, Drew, has also been taking some time off to care for her.
