My name is Anna Lara and I am going to BSSM this year. BSSM stands for Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry and is a bible school in Redding, California for Christians from all over the world. The year consists of 9 months of classes (from September 2024 to May 2025) and an international mission trip at the end.
Why I am going to BSSM
During the winter, I was thinking about what I wanted to do after my degree in business administration. It quickly became clear that I would like to go to Bible school. When I looked at the different schools, I felt that I should go to BSSM.
I long to invest a year in my relationship with God, to get to know him better and to root my identity in him more deeply. I look forward to the incredibly wise and gifted leaders I get to learn from and receive at BSSM. And another key reason for BSSM: DANCING - I love dancing for God so much. Bethel has a brilliant dance community, lots of experience in prophetic dance ministry and I'm excited to learn from the dance pastors there.
And now it's all becoming a reality very quickly...
Finances
As you can imagine, there are several costs for me - not only financially. I will have to say goodbye to my family, my church, my friends and my work. I'm getting involved in a lot of new things and will have to face the challenges of moving abroad.
But I realize that God is calling me and that it will cost me everything - emotionally and financially. To live in California, I will be on a M1 student visa and therefore will not be legally permitted to work in the US. I have been saving and working hard to fund my time at BSSM.
