On January 5th, 2026, our lives changed in an instant. My wife Anna went to the ER in Davenport and was admitted after suffering a stroke. The days that followed were filled with fear and uncertainty as she fought to recover. Anna is now out of the hospital, but she faces a long road ahead—she needs to learn to walk and see again through intensive rehabilitation.
As we were trying to process Anna’s situation, tragedy struck again. On January 6th, our son Dalton was found unconscious by a family member and rushed to a hospital two hours away. Doctors discovered that Dalton had 100% inflammation of his brain. After several treatments and tests, half of his brain has returned to normal, but Dalton still cannot speak, walk, or even sit up. We are still unsure what the future holds for him, or if life will ever return to normal for either Anna or Dalton.
The emotional and financial toll has been overwhelming. The medical bills, rehabilitation costs, and travel expenses to different hospitals are mounting as we focus on Anna and Dalton’s recovery. Any donation, no matter the size, will help us cover these urgent needs and give Anna and Dalton the best chance at recovery. Your prayers and support mean so much to us. Thank you for standing with our family during this incredibly difficult time.
