My name is Julia and I created this fundraiser for my friend Anna Conway to help with monthly bills while she recovers from brain surgery.

Anna was recently (and very suddenly) diagnosed with a brain tumor in her frontal lobe. She is undergoing brain surgery on 9/2/24 to remove the tumor. We are unsure at this time if it is cancerous or if she'll have to undergo chemotherapy and/or radiation. We are unsure how long she'll be unable to work, but she will need assistance covering her monthly bills such as rent, groceries, and gas money to get to and from doctor's appointments (1 hour each way), etc.

Anna made a big move to Wasilla 3 weeks ago to start an internship, so she has no disability insurance to cover lost wages. At this time, we do not know if insurance is going to cover part or all of her medical bills.

We will set up a bank account at Global Credit Union next week for those who prefer to transfer money directly to her.
