Support Ann, Who Spent Her Life Supporting Others

Ann is a mother (our mother), a caregiver, a life long pre-school teacher, and a pure and wonderful being who has positively shaped so many children's lives. She's spent her life giving her time and love to so many and never asked for anything in return. 

For the past few years, she's been fighting off a very aggressive cancer; it's recently gotten much, much worse. 

Due to the unfortunate structure of our healthcare and insurance system here in the US, a lot of medical expenses are piling up:

$4,700 for the home health care and hospital payments
$175/day co-pay for home care
$7,000+ for feeding pump, feeding tube and maintenance
and more for medications needed to keep her stable and comfortable

Almost $18,000 in medical expenses to just keep her safe and stable now -  and there's potentially even more expenses rolling in as time goes on. Having made very little as a preschool teacher and even with having a long term part time weekend job at Sam's Club, she doesn't have the funds to cover these costs.

Ann would never ask for anything and, between us, she would likely be embarrassed that her children are even posting this; but she needs your help. She needs her community and friends now.
