Support Ann Marie & Powell's Parenting Dream

I'm Sarah, Ann Marie's stepsister. I reached out to Ann Marie and Powell about sharing their story and starting a GoFundMe after learning about all the costs associated with their past and future fertility treatments. It takes a village, and we know Ann Marie and Powell have a village who want to support them in making their dreams of becoming parents come true.

After trying to conceive for almost a year, in July of 2023, Ann Marie and Powell went to a fertility specialist who diagnosed Ann Marie with PCOS. PCOS is the leading cause of infertility and affects 70–95% of women seeking treatment for infertility. Ann Marie and Powell have been working with fertility specialists and reproductive endocrinologists over the last year and a half. Sadly, Ann Marie had failed treatments and multiple miscarriages. The doctors have suggested IVF.

The cost of one round of IVF is $29,000. This does not include all the bills Ann Marie & Powell already accrued from doctors appointments, tests, and treatments. Ann Marie and Powell plan on taking out a loan (on top of their student loans and mortgage) to cover the costs. Our goal is to raise whatever we can to help ease the financial burden so that Ann Marie and Powell can focus on becoming parents, not worrying about how they are going to financially make that happen.

Ann Marie and Powell are two of the most caring and loving people I know. Their passion for helping others is evident through their professions and their personal lives. They are always happy to support, listen, and help their friends and family in need. They are going to be wonderful parents (and Tikka will be one amazing big sister).
