Mark Schoonmaker was more than just a neighbor — he was a cherished friend, an avid river guide, and a passionate skier who brought joy and adventure to everyone around him. Mark passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2025. His kindness and willingness to help others made a lasting impact on our community. His absence is deeply felt by all who knew him.

Mark’s partner, Ann, is now facing the difficult task of moving forward without him. This sudden loss has brought unexpected expenses, including funeral costs and ongoing living expenses.
