Hi! We’re Ann Arbor high schoolers helping organize the second ever Ann Arbor Asian American Youth Summit (A4YS), a student-led event that’ll bring together 150+ students and community members to celebrate Asian American culture. We’ll have a cultural performance from students, a keynote speech from former Michigan Assistant Attorney General Roland Hwang, games and activities from a variety of different cultures, and delicious food and snacks from local Asian restaurants.
Skyline doesn’t currently have a multicultural night or event, so this summit is our way of creating a space for our community to share and celebrate unique Asian cultures.
We’re currently fundraising to help cover food and materials for the event so we can keep the summit accessible to everyone and ensure admission remains completely free.
Our event is planned for March 26, 4-7 pm at Skyline High School.
Thank you for your support— anything helps! :)
