Support Ankie and Anika After Jim's Passing

It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of Ankie Meuwissen's husband, Jim, passing away unexpectedly on March 31st. Jim was a loving husband and father whose passing has left an unfillable void for his family and community.

His passing will continue to have lasting impacts on Ankie and his daughter, Anika. Ankie and Jim had a relationship to be cherished by many, with unwavering support for each other and their daughter, Anika. They created countless memories through their love of travel and the great outdoors, and in their appreciation of their golden retrievers. For anyone who has had the privilege of working with Ankie in Ballston Spa at the middle school or high school you know what an amazing, dedicated educator she is. Knowing this family on a personal level, they are truly amazing people who would never ask us for anything. It's in times like these that the Ballston Spa community rises to a challenge.

During this incredibly difficult time, we are reaching out for your support to help Ankie and her daughter. The funds raised will be used to assist with the burden of funeral and other unexpected expenses.

Ballston Spa is often referred to as a village of friends. It's in dark times like these that we help our friends through these difficult times.
