Hi, my name is Myette Ferguson, and I am friend of Latico Veasey, who lost her daughter Aniya on May 4 2025, due to a Mental Health altercation. The family’s hearts were shattered with this loss. She was taken too soon.

This has been an incredibly difficult time for the Aniya’s family, and we are reaching out for support as we navigate this unimaginable loss. Aniya was a loving daughter, a caring younger sister, and a bright light in her family’s lives. She was preparing for Prom and Graduation at BPS Hutch Tech and even going off to Houghton College, she had a promising future that was cut short.

We are asking for your support to help with her healing, as she comes to terms with her new reality. Any contribution, no matter how small, would mean the world to the family as we come together to remember Aniya’s life and legacy.
