Support Aniyah's Peaceful Journey Home
Hello to all,
Thank you for visiting this GoFundMe page.
Here is a bit of my story. I have a caring and wonderful 9-year-old son who has wanted nothing more than to be an awesome big brother. Seven years ago, I lost a baby at 10 weeks gestation due to an ectopic pregnancy. I bled internally and lost my left fallopian tube.
God then blessed me with my rainbow baby, a beautiful baby girl named Aniyah who is almost 9 months old.
Aniyah was born breech via C-section on Oct 17th, 2023, at 35 weeks. She was 3lbs4oz at birth. She stopped breathing the night she was born and was placed on a ventilator for 3 weeks. She has been on a bubble c-pap ever since. Aniyah has full Trisomy 18 which is a horrible chromosome disorder. She has had many complications. She currently has 6 holes in her heart and her esophagus and stomach aren't connected, so she is being fed via g-tube. She is also deaf. Her lungs are always filling up with fluid. The more she grows, the harder it is for her to breathe. She is currently 14lbs4oz.
Aniyah has fought hard. Before she was 3 months old, she endured 3 surgeries and over the following months, a few gap studies that left her on a ventilator for almost a week each time.
Aniyah hasn't hit any major milestones but she loves her momma and big brother. She loves to stare in our eyes. She loves looking at my earrings and hair clips, plus she absolutely loves bath time. When the nurses sit her up in her mommaroo, she enjoys watching everyone walk past.
Unfortunately, she has endured so much and her little body is giving out. There is nothing more that can be done, soon I will be with her as she will peacefully come off all machinery to go home to the heavens in peace.
I am asking for help with burial costs as she was denied life insurance due to her diagnosis.
These have been very trying times for my family.
Any amount will help and will be very appreciated.
Thank you all for reading my story about my little angel who is going home to be with my mom, her grandma.
