Support Anita's Journey to Stroke Recovery

Our sister, Anita, was diagnosed with a brain aneurysm late last year. After the shocking diagnosis, Doctors advised immediate surgery which was very complicated due to the size and location of the aneurysm. Our family experienced this with Anita, back in December 2023. During her recovery, she unfortunately experienced a stroke. From this, Anita is dealing with severe life changing health issues that come along with a stroke. This impacted her right side of the body along with her speech. Anita is learning how to work through these challenges daily and is currently at a wonderful rehabilitation center in Illinois. Close friends and family have been there to support her in person, over the phone, and through sending cards with words of encouragement. We appreciate the continued support from each and every one of you as Anita continues to fight the long fight ahead. She is already making nice progress, which we are grateful for, but she has a lot more to work through. We are hopeful she regains more of her speech back along with the ability to walk again.
