Anita Mae Perry (Johnson) Kidney Cancer expenses

We aren’t sure where to start, we are givers, not receivers, by heart. We would have preferred we’d always keep it that way. We all hope we never have to ask, but sometimes we have no choice. Humility takes the second stage. We are forced to recognize that we have a few challenges. With that said, we also realize that we have the most amazing network of friends and family who will hopefully not judge as we tuck our tails for the first time and reach out. So, here’s our story and our humble request…

On Wednesday April 10th, after a routine MRI a mass was discovered on Anita's left kidney. Later, it was diagnosed as cancer. She will be traveling to Spokane for surgery this coming week. Her children have been traveling between Southern Idaho and Washington to help with preparation, dogs and house sitting while she attends doctor appointments, hospital visits, etc.

Ultimately, we realize that the stress of healthcare, traveling and lodging expense will be weighing in. It would mean everything to us to remove that stress and continue to stay positive while she battle's “life with cancer”. We completely understand that not everyone has the means, so please know that we also welcome prayers of support and all the high-fives and smiles that we already so fortunately receive.
