Anita has had some difficult hardships in her life. Citlali Mora, Anita daughter was murdered coming out of McDonald's by a driver under the influence of drugs and alcohol. After losing her only daughter and her daughters friend to a tragic car accident, she and her husband were distraught. There is no worse pain than that of losing a child. With this pain came sickness. Anita has diabetes and kidney failure She has had surgeries to help, losing some of her toes in the process. Anita was a very hard working mother but due to her illness she lost her ability to work and used up all her savings, for some treatments and bills. Her medical treatment has been very costly and she is struggling. Due to her immigration status, she can't receive treatments anymore because she doesn't qualify for medicaid and doesn't have the funds to pay for it.

Anita esta pasando dificiles momentos en vida. Después de perder a su única hija y a su amiga en un trágico accidente automovilístico, ella y su esposo estaban angustiados. Citlali Mora la hija de Anita fue asesinada al salir de McDonald's por un conductor bajo los efectos de drogas y alcohol. No hay peor dolor que el de perder un hijo. Con esta perdida sus enfermedades empeoraron. Anita tiene diabetes yinsuficiencia renal. Se sometió a cirugías para ayudar y perdió algunos dedos de los pies en el proceso. Anita era una madre muy trabajadora pero debido a su enfermedad perdió su capacidad de trabajar y agotó todos sus ahorros, para algunos tratamientos y facturas. Su tratamiento médico ha sido muy costoso y está pasando apuros. Debido a su estatus migratorio, no puede recibir tratamientos porque no califica para Medicaid y no tiene los fondos para pagarlos.
