Dear Friends and Family. I am sending this message on behalf of Anita Steele a vibrant resilient and loving mother and friend. In November of 2024 we found out that Anita Steele was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung cancer which metastized to the brain. However, we also found out that she has Cerebral Edema as well. At that moment an immediate decision was made for brain surgery. They were able to remove 1 of the tumors and she still has 2 remaining tumors, which is the most devastating news imaginable. There is absolutely nothing worse than watching and hearing this news. Cancer is relentless... This is a difficult journey beyond measure. The heavy weight of medical bills, supplies, treatment costs it is now out of control. Currently we are asking for prayers, kindness and generosity.
