Support Ani’s fight against stage 4 cancer!

Writing these words is never easy, especially about someone you love so much. I’ve started this page for my dear friend Aniko (Ani) as she needs our help!

Ani is a radiant being with the biggest heart, always full of love and spreading joy wherever she goes. In the four years we've been friends, her beautiful spirit has profoundly impacted my life in so many ways.

Ani has been living with breast cancer since 2021, but recently, her physical health deteriorated very quickly. She was rushed to the hospital after losing her mobility and experiencing extreme pain, where small fractures were found on her pelvis and spine.

Further investigation revealed that the cancer had spread, and she received the devastating news that it has progressed to Stage 4 Bone cancer. Ani’s cancer had spread from her breast to her lymph nodes, spine, hip, and pelvis. Immediately after receiving this diagnosis she began a course of aggressive radiation therapy.

The hospital here in Toronto have said that Ani’s treatment focus for now is pain management and preventing the cancer's spread. However, there are other life enhancing treatment options available that come at a significant cost of $60,000 USD.

Ani has a room reserved at HOPE4CANCER in Mexico and hopes to fly there as soon as she is medically stable. Where she will start a three-week regime at the center utilizing powerful alternative healing methods, such as Sono-Photo Dynamic Therapy (SPDT). SPDT uses non-toxic sensitizers that selectively concentrate in cancer cells. Photo Dynamic Therapy utilizes state-of-the-art medical low laser (photobiomodulation) technology to deliver specific color laser beams, intravenously or interstitially. Lasers are matched to activate specific sensitizers, delivered sublingually or intravenously, that destroy tumors and circulating cancer cells through the generation of reactive oxygen species, while also activating the immune system.

Additionally, the SuniveraTM Bio-Immunotherapy Program MAF Injectable is a powerful, non-toxic immunotherapy agent that activates the immune system’s macrophages to break down cancer cells.

These are just two of the several available treatments at the centre. HOPE4CANCER will provide a holistic person centred treatment plan which will include various healing and detoxification methods, such as ozone therapy, hyperbaric oxygen chambers, emotional and spiritual based therapies, aswell as a home treatment plan for 3 months once she leaves the centre.

Due to the large cost of this treatment, and the hope it provides, we ask family, friends, community, and beyond to please come together. No matter how little the contribution, we appreciate it immensely. This opportunity for treatment will be absolutely life-changing for Aniko's healing journey.

We aim to raise $100,000, which would cover the costs of the treatment at HOPE4CANCER and also provide some financial support to Ani so she can focus purely on her health and healing at this time.
