Hello,

My name is Jen, and I’m reaching out to you with a heartfelt request to support the Animals Rule Placement Foundation, an incredible rescue dedicated to saving dogs at risk of euthanasia from overcrowded shelters and giving them the love, medical care, and rehabilitation they deserve.

Today, I want to share the story of Suzie.

Suzie is a sweet, gentle dog who has already endured more suffering than any animal ever should. She was used solely as a breeding dog and kept in horrible conditions that caused extreme stress and trauma. That trauma led to a devastating attack by other dogs.

Instead of being rushed to a veterinarian, Suzie was left outside in a small kennel for one to two days. She had no food, no water, and was left in the rain—bleeding and alone, with no one to help her.

When we finally picked Suzie up, we rushed her straight to an emergency vet. Her condition was heartbreaking.

• Half of her right ear had been bitten off and was severely infected

• Her left front leg had two large wounds, nearly exposing bone

• Her back right leg had a deep, open injury

• Her body was covered in puncture wounds and blood

• Because she was left untreated, she developed bone infections

Suzie has a long, painful, and expensive road to recovery ahead of her—but she also has something powerful: the will to live. Despite everything she’s endured, she is still fighting, and we are not giving up on her.
