Support Animal Sanctuary's Lifesaving Work

Hi everyone,

I'm reaching out to ask for your support in helping a truly selfless and inspiring woman who dedicates her life to rescuing and caring for animals in need.

The owner of this small, privately-run animal sanctuary has made it her mission to save, heal, and rehome animals that others have given up on. She currently cares for around 50 animals—many of whom were abused, abandoned, or neglected—and she does it mostly on her own, often with limited financial resources.

In December, she took in a pregnant dog for me, who had suffered terrible abuse and neglect. No rescue usually does this and she was the only person that agreed to help out of all the calls I made. Missy, the dog, safely delivered 8 beautiful puppies. But now the sanctuary is struggling with the situation now that the puppies have become dog sized and adoptions have slowed down. While 3 of the puppies have found homes, 5 are still waiting—and they all need to be spayed and neutered, provided with continued preventatives, vet checks, and healthy food to thrive. This is a massive expense that she was not prepared for when she took Missy in.

This woman never turns her back on an animal in need, but right now, she needs our help. I’ve seen firsthand the love, care, and sacrifice she pours into every rescue, and I just want to make sure she can keep doing what she does best.

General upkeep of the sanctuary to keep it safe and running.
