R Lazy J Ranch Support Animal Feed/ Care
Donation protected
My family and I opened R Lazy J Wildlife Ranch in September of 2018 because we love animals, people and Arizona. We love telling people that visit the ranch about conservation and creating memorable encounters. We are 100% funded through admissions; the guided tours for individuals, families and school field trips.
While all small business are struggling, we are not able to close our business as more than 300 animals rely on us to care for them each day. We do not qualify for SBA Emergency loans because we have not been in business long enough. We do not qualify for ag loans because we are not considered production agriculture. We have laid off all non essential staff, but fear we will soon be unable to provide the necessary feed and care for our collection. We are asking our friends and community members to consider supporting the ranch, our staff and animals in one of the following ways:
Prayers: For government leaders and scientists to arrive at a solution for treating and living with the outbreak. For politicians to support policies that will help small businesses and citizens survive socially and economically.
Cash Donations: Any amount helps.
Feed items: Horse quality hay, grain, canned fruit/vegetables (expired is fine - we know that the two-legged animals need these just as much).
On behalf of our Ranch Family and Animals, Thank you!
Sincerely,
Jacob Roer
