Hi, friends! My name is Angela Giles, but please call me Angi—everyone does! Recently, I was diagnosed with Stage 2 Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC), a rare and aggressive form of breast cancer. As a longtime advocate for breast cancer awareness, education, and research, I’ve always fundraised for others, but now I find myself needing help to face my own fight.

Just a month after my diagnosis, I was already starting chemotherapy, with no time to prepare. It’s been three months now, and while I’ve been trying to keep my spirits high, chemo has been more exhausting and challenging than I ever imagined. I’m doing my best to keep working part-time at my office job, but I’ve had to give up my second job in event staffing, which has cut my income in half.

Even with insurance, the mounting costs of treatments—each lab visit, infusion, and checkup—are overwhelming. That’s why I’m reaching out through this GoFundMe, hoping for some help to cover my medical and living expenses while I focus on my health.

This journey won’t be quick—I’m facing a year or more of chemotherapy, surgery, and radiation, followed by ongoing scans to make sure the cancer doesn’t come back in new areas.
