Angie and I have been friends since elementary school, and I’ve seen firsthand how much she gives to others—both at school and in her community. Now, she’s facing one of the toughest challenges of her life. In 2020, Angie was struck by a life-threatening illness that has continued to impact her health. Since November 11th, she’s endured several hospital stays and was recently diagnosed with a complex condition. After four failed outpatient antibiotic treatments, all resistant to oral antibiotics, Angie spent five days in the hospital and was released with a midline in her arm. She’s now under home health care, staying with her parents and Cora, and there’s no set date for her to return to work.
The financial strain has been overwhelming. Angie is facing mounting medical bills and has lost her second income from thrifting and flipping. She’s always been the first to help others, but now she needs our support more than ever. The funds raised will help cover her daily living expenses while she focuses on recovery, giving her the time and space she needs to heal.
Thank you so much for any support you can give—whether it’s a donation or simply sharing this fundraiser with others. Angie has touched so many lives, and I hope our community can come together to help her in this time of need.
