Hello everyone, I am Angie. I am a high school junior from the great state of Texas. Recently, I got accepted into CIEE's High School Study Abroad program with a scholarship of $3000. Though, I still need to raise about $4,000-$5,000 to cover tuition and airfare. This is a four-week study abroad immersion program and this fundraiser will help cover the cost of airfare, local travel in Italy, meals, educational programmings, excursions, and travel insurance.

Outside of school, I have participated in Poetry Out Loud, a nationwide poetry competition, and have advanced not only regionally but also have competed at the state level. I have also participated in VASE, a Texas Art competition, and am part of the National Art Honors Society at my school. I love to make art and perform poetry. In addition to my love for the arts, I am an avid reader and designer. In the future, I hope to go to college and study architecture. With a degree in architecture, I want to design schools, libraries, churches, and museums. My parents value education and have always wanted my siblings and me to have the opportunity to study abroad. This amazing opportunity has been presented to me, and I just need a little help getting to the finish line.
