Eli is an 11-year-old boy with a big, kind heart. He loves trying new things like golf and snowboarding, playing video games that involve dirt biking and racing, and spending time outdoors. He has a special love for Vietnamese food and crystals, and he’s always thinking of others — giving thoughtful gifts to loved ones, helping the new kid at school, or making sure a friend isn’t left out when they’re sad or hurt.
When Eli came down with a fever that wouldn’t go away, Angie followed her motherly gut instinct. After multiple doctor visits and rounds of antibiotics, she knew something wasn’t right. She took him to the ER, where they finally learned the diagnosis: Stage 3B Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Eli now faces six months of aggressive chemotherapy.
Angie has taken a leave from work to be by his side every step of the way. Normally, she works two jobs and goes to school, but right now her priority is caring for her son during treatment. While EI provides 50% of her usual income, it isn’t enough to cover the basic costs of living, let alone the extra expenses that come with frequent hospital visits, medications, travel, and meals on the go.
This fundraiser is to help Angie and Eli focus on what matters most — Eli’s healing and well-being — without the added stress of financial hardship. Any support, whether through a donation or by sharing this page, will make a meaningful difference in their journey.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with Eli and Angie during this difficult time.
